Connections...

I've encountered many different connections recently. Mostly related to my dad and his dying. Connections with his doctor, his friends, my friends, his secretary, the circuit judge. They all knew him, they all know me. Sometimes in the same context sometimes not. Separated by several years and thousands of miles, the stories come together. Many of the stories are expected and routine, others almost unbelievable. I wonder, which connections will fracture? Grow stronger? I cry and I laugh. These stories provide comfort and insight. And then I ran across this...
